What Is a Mother?

18 Aug

My situation is a little different, but I feel like I can relate to this post. And those things in a “mother” I need to learn to do for myself.

Yeah, I think it is similar for all of us that didn’t get these things as children. We all lack the basics on how to love ourselves and accept love from others. It’s sad. I wish you the best of luck in learning how to “self parent.” It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

Me too! And I try to get others to “mother” me with not much success. It’s not their responsibility anyways.
